PAYMENT GATEWAY AND TRANSACTION ROUTING
  • Scope of this Portal
    • The web portal hosted at thenrai.org (the "Portal") is owned and operated by The National Rifle Association of India ("NRAI"). The Portal is used as a common platform by the NRAI and by all the State / Union Territory Rifle Associations and affiliated Units recognised by the NRAI (each, a "Member Association / Unit") for athlete registration, membership, match entries, championships and other allied shooting sport activities.
    • Every Member Association / Unit listed on this page operates on the Portal in its own name and in its own right. The Portal only provides the technology platform through which each such Member Association / Unit administers its own activities and collects its own fees.
  • Independent Payment Gateway Integrations
    • The Portal is integrated with separate payment gateways for the NRAI and for each Member Association / Unit that has opted for online collection of fees. Each such payment gateway is configured against the merchant account and the bank account held by that respective Member Association / Unit.
    • The payment gateway to be used for a particular transaction is determined by the Portal on the basis of the Member Association / Unit to which the fee is payable. The user is accordingly directed to the payment gateway of that Member Association / Unit at the time of payment.
    • Consequently, all transactions carried out on the Portal are properly routed to, and are settled into, the designated bank account of the respective Member Association / Unit to which the fee relates. Amounts collected on behalf of one Member Association / Unit are not credited to the account of the NRAI or of any other Member Association / Unit.
    • Fees payable directly to the NRAI (such as national level charges levied by the NRAI) are routed to the payment gateway and bank account of the NRAI in the same manner.
  • Responsibility for Fees, Receipts and Refunds
    • The fee heads, the amount of fees and any applicable taxes or gateway charges are determined by the concerned Member Association / Unit, or by the NRAI in respect of its own fees, in accordance with their respective rules and regulations.
    • The receipt generated on successful completion of a transaction reflects the name of the Member Association / Unit in whose favour the payment has been made. Users are advised to retain a copy of every such receipt for their records.
    • Any claim for refund, cancellation, chargeback or adjustment of a transaction lies against the Member Association / Unit that has received the amount, and shall be dealt with by that Member Association / Unit in terms of the Cancellation / Refund Policy and the applicable rules. The NRAI is not the recipient of, and does not hold, amounts credited to a Member Association / Unit.
    • Card, net banking and UPI credentials used for a payment are captured and processed solely by the payment gateway service provider concerned and are neither accessed nor stored by the NRAI or by any Member Association / Unit. Please also refer to the Privacy Policy and the Terms & Conditions.
  • Limitation of Liability and Governing Law
    • The NRAI does not accept liability for any failure, delay, interruption or error occurring at the payment gateway of a Member Association / Unit, or at the acquiring or issuing bank, or in the banking and settlement systems, nor for any consequential loss arising therefrom.
    • The list of Member Associations / Units set out below is maintained on the Portal and is liable to be amended from time to time on account of affiliation, disaffiliation, reorganisation or renaming. The version published on this page shall be the current version.
    • These terms are governed by the laws of India and the competent courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
